Symbolic Scissors - Sandi Chambers, Miss Simi Valley, cuts ceremonial ribbon to open new section of Simi Valley-San Fernando Valley Freeway, between First Street and Sycamore Drive. Assisting Miss Chambers are, from left, Haig Ayanian, district engineer for the State Division of Highways Assemblyman Ken MacDonald, D-Ventura Lester Cleveland, Mayor of Simi Valley Robert Huber, president Simi Valley Chamber of Commerce and Mrs. Connie Susman, secretary of Simi Valley Chamber of Commerce.
