Description
San Juan Hot Springs (or Capistrano Hot Springs) was a popular local vacation spot from the 1870s to the 1930s. They are located along the Ortega Highway (SR 74) in what is now the upper end of Caspers Wilderness Park. Five Oaks was a well-known spot at the springs in the 1890s. Some of the same people in this photo are also pictured in images CFLS_044 and CFLS_048.
