Confirmation of agreement between the six undersigned tenants and the Dominguez Estate Company that their tenancy on a parcel of land in the Rancho San Pedro, upon which they had built a one-story frame building that they used as a school for Japanese children, has been terminated, and that they will surrender possession of the premises provided that they may remove the dwelling located upon it. This collection includes records of land leased to Japanese American tenants in years leading up to World War II. As such, they provide a view of California in years of the Alien Land Laws, attitudes toward Japanese Americans, and the impact of World War II.
