Description
Bound in textured black material. The title, "Earthquake / California Scenes," is embossed in the center of the cover in gold lettering. Photos on pages 1-53 are of the damage wrought by the 1906 San Francisco earthquake, taken by Jack London. Photos on following pages are of Sonoma County and surrounding areas including Yosemite and the San Francisco bay.
Album has very slight wear around edges. Starting with page 89 -- contact print #05499, it would appear that the counter on the camera stopped working, and someone chose to number the contact prints by hand in ink above each print, starting with #05501, and skipping to #05501. This hand-numbering continues through the end of album 41 and into 42.
