Exterior photographic postcard of downtown Banning, California, looking north on San Gorgonio Avenue from just north of the Southern Pacific Railroad tracks.The Alta Vista Hotel can be seen on left side of photograph. The postcard was mailed to a Miss Florence Stone in Corona, California from Jessica. It is postmarked May 7, 1907. Handwritten note on front of postcard reads: ""Isn't this a scene of bustling activity for you? However I must confess that It's a good picture and very true to life.""
