Description: Campers pose under the trees at San Juan Hot Springs. Several of the men have hunting rifles in hand. San Juan Hot Springs (or Capistrano Hot Springs) was a popular local vacation spot from the 1870s to the 1930s. They are located along the Ortega Highway (SR 74) in what is now the upper end of Caspers Wilderness Park.
