Description
"James and Katerina (Kate) Nelson are pictured in front of their home that was decorated for July 4th in 1908. The home, as shown in the ""Visalia Heritage"" book of home, is in 2002 still in use at 220 N.W. 1st Avenue in Visalia. James, a retired buggy maker, was Kate's second husband. They moved to Visalia from North Dakota in 1906-07. They had three children: Laurence, Edward and Frederick. (Photo courtesy of Maureen Anderson)"
