Description
The Del Paso Hotel, constructed in 1886, was Beaumont's second hotel. Built 2 years before the real estate bust, it was owned by Mrs. M. M. Fisher. There was not much development on the south side of the tracks, the majority of the town was built on the north side of the tracks. This is one of the few business establishments on the south of the Pacific Tracks. Real estate speculators were rampant during the boom years and clientele, as seen here with a buggy tour, were treated like royalty.
