Exterior photograph of Harold Embshoff and his son, Hal, posing in front of their fruit and vegetable store in Banning. The store was built in 1939 and owned by the Martin family until the Embshoff's took over the store in 1952, calling it Hal's Date Shop. The view is looking east on Ramsey Street. The Embshoff's are well know for their family recipe of making horseradish.
