Description
Finishing Touches - Paint crews (background, center) mark the lanes for the new west-bound detour on the Ventura Freeway between Moorpark and Hampshire Roads. The old detour looped round north of the existing freeway, but the new detour, which opened today, consists of the northern two lanes of what will ultimately be the four west-bound lanes of the freeway. East-bound traffic presently uses the two southern lanes and will be unaffected by the new detour.
