Taken years after the Stewart Ranch was firmly established and operating successfully, is a photograph of Laura Mae Stewart and her father, Rez Stewart. The original homestead that Stewart had taken up in 1883 blossomed to over 2200 acres when he purchased land from the Southern Pacific Railroad. Laura is pictured here at the wheel of the car with an unknown passenger, and Rez Stewart is shown on horseback.
