Description
The livery stable and blacksmith shop of S. A. Owen was located on the northeast corner of Putnam and Second streets in Porterville, CA, in the late 1800s. Owen is the bearded man third in from the horse. The firm later belonged to Wilbur Houghton and then to Swan Baker.
