Description
Members of Southern California Editorial Association at Beaumont are pictured in front of the Summit House, which was once the Beatty House. The Summit House was established in 1884 by Frank Mindler. It catered to large groups that needed lodging for special occasions, such as Smoot and Eyer's prospective land buyers.
