In 1921, the citizens of the district voted $300, 000 in bonds for a new school at a new site, centrally located at the southwest corner of Ben Lomand Avenue, now Barranca Avenue, and Foothill Boulevard. It was shared by Azusa and Glendora until 1956. (Cornejo, 2007, p. 68)
