This photo shows the body of Tulare County, CA, outlaw James McKinney, lying on a slab in a Bakersfield, CA, mortuaruy after he was killed in a gunfight in a Chinese joss house April 20, 1903. Note the shotgun wounds in his face and neck. He was killed by Bert Tibbett.
