Description
Most ribbon cuttings use a ribbon, but to celebrate opening of Lumber City today in Thousand Oaks civic officials and company officials used another material - lumber, of course. Taking part in ceremony are, from left, City Planning Director Barry Eaton, Planning Commissioners Dick Rosiejka and Walt Wilcox, City Councilman Ray Garcia, City Manager Glenn Kendall, City Building Director Gene Pierce, Owner Bob Nieman, Conejo Valley Chamber of Commerce President Milton Towle, Beverly Hills Chamber of Commerce President Solly Laub, City Attorney Ray Clayton and Metropolitan Mortgage President Wally Watkins.
