Gribbles Gas Station, exterior John Gribble was the areas first business proprietor. He owned several Business enterprises--California--Monterey Park in Monterey Park that included the gas station and a grocery store. Gribbles gas station located where the current Bank of America is now, sold gasoline from the Puente Oil Company owned by William R. Rowland.
