Description
Few Remain - Once there were many oaks lining the boulevard, now there are few. Most have been cut down for street or business construction projects. One of the few remaining oaks is this sentinel near the east end of the boulevard. It is surrounded by asphalt and sticks into the road several feet. Image shows oak with mailbox attached to it, and traffic going past.
