Description
This photo was taken from the front of the post office of Egan Ave, looking south, in 1907 near the railroad crossing in Beaumont. The buildings pictured include the front of J. Drew Frank's Realty Office, Burt Curter's Livery Stable, Grant's Mercantile (under construction) and Charles Budden's Hotel. Cargo hauling at this time was an active venture for many, which added to the burgeoning economy of the city.
