Description
Pictured is the entrance to the lumberyard owned by John J. McCoy., who was active in many ventures. McCoy was a builder, in addition to being the first mayor of Beaumont. McCoy constructed his own house in Beaumont, his brother's house in Cherry Valley, and the old stone Episcopal church located on Egan and 7th Streets. His son Horace built the historic Hilltop House in Banning.
