Description
This adobe building was constructed by F. G. Hengst ca 1890 as a family home to which he brought his bride, Anna Muller, whose family came from Saxony, Germany. Three sons -- William, Walter and Herman -- were born in the adobe, which ca 1910-1915 was old to Alfred Hengst, whose homestead bordered it on the north. (Photo courtesy of Linda Hengst)
