Description
The Beaumont Library District was established in 1911, and funded by Carnegie, independent of city or country. The original building, built in 1914, still stands and operates on the southwest corner of Eighth Street and California Ave. An addition was built in 1966 and a community room was added in 1981. This picture was taken in approximately 1939.
