Governor Ronald Reagan signing bill in March 1972, Sacramento. Standing: Trustee William (Ben) Gould, Trustee Robert Brydon, Trustee Foster Lopes, Superintendent James P. Hardy, and Trustee Robert Sorensen. Appropriations bill AB 532 authorized $1.47 million in state funds toward the purchase of land in Santa Clara for the Mission campus.
