Description
The waterfall area of the Cascades around 1945. Note the bare hills behind and the Athena statue missing from her niche. The Cascades were built by Peter Snyder in 1928 as part of his Midwick View Estates promotion. They are still a landmark in Monterey Park, designated as Heritage Falls in 1991.
