Description
Plate 3 in number six of Cruikshank's self-published, nine-part serial, "My Sketch Book" (published 1834-1836). Vogler relates the small vignette in this plate, "A Wapping Sweetheart," to the drawing, "A Wapping Landlady" (1989.21.1656).
