Full title:Congratulations are in order after being installed as Assistant Pastor in the First Baptist Church of Chicago. The Reverend Jitsuo Morikawa, from Poston, is being congratulated here by a Caucasian woman, a member of the church's congregation. Reverend Morikawa is said to be the first Japanese American installed as Pastor of the Baptist Church. The First Baptist Church here has no Japanese American members. Reverend Morikawa was previously connected with the Church Federation of Chicago. He is Canadian born. Chicago, Illinois.
