Full title:George Nakashima, architect, laying out a form for bending wood to be used in chairs he is making. George, with his wife and three-year-old daughter, Mira, formerly of Seattle and Minidoka, has rented a house in the country near New Hope, Pennsylvania. George has set up a workshop in a small shed and is designing furniture for Hans Knoll, Associates, a wholesale furniture firm in New York City, and is also making pieces for individual customers and for his own use.
