Description
Full title:Mr. Toshimichi Iyoya is know as Nick, the International Bartender, to his friends and patrons at the Elms, resort hotel about thirty miles north of Kansas City. Though an Issei, Nick's English is flawless. Formerly of San Mateo, California, Nick relocated from the Topaz, Utah, Relocation Center on October 18, 1943. He was recently joined by his wife, who is also employed at the hotel, and his daughter, Violet, age 11, who is now attending grammar school in Excelsior Springs.
