Description
Full title:Former Postonites, all from Camp #1, entering International Settlement, enjoy one of the monthly, social get-togethers of Nisei and Issei. On this evening over 150 were present. The program included amateur stage acts, group dancing, music, refreshments and ping-pong. International Settlement at 435 S. Boyle Avenue, Los Angeles, is a large, beautiful building in the old Spanish traditions, with a central courtyard-patio decorated with travel posters from all over the world. The entire building is artistically landscaped in the best Southern California style. The Settlement is community-supported and gives social, classroom, Americanization and other beneficial assistance to all races without charge. Photographer: Mace, Charles E. Los Angeles, California.
