Like Cruikshank's glyphograph in the same issue ("Mr. John Bull, in Keeley's celebrated character of Willibald, in the Popular Extravaganza of The Bottle Imp") this print illustrates a brief article on railroad speculation by the periodical's editor, Gilbert Abbott a Beckett.
