Description
Full title:Miss Rose Tanaka, who owns and operates her own farm near Henderson, Colorado, is seen at the wheel of one of her farm trucks, hauling sugar beets to the loading platform. Miss Tanaka is Colorado born and has operated the farm, with her father, for 18 years. She is able to fill in on any kind of farm work, and personally manages the marketing of all produce raised on her farm. This summer she employed a group of relocatees recruited from the Granada, Heart Mountain and Rohwer Centers. Photographer: Mace, Charles E. Henderson, Colorado.
