Description
From Works in Progress Exhibition, curated by René Yáñez. Portable mural depicts a rendition of the Aztec goddess Tlazolteotl of childbirth, midwives, divination, and the moon. She is also known as 'the eater of filth'. Here her womb reveals abundant potential for procreation and she is seated atop the moon, one of her attributes. Medium is Politec Acrylic.
