Description
From El Día de los Muertos Exhibition, organized by Ralph Maradiaga and René Yáñez at Galería de la Raza (October 23- November 2, 1981). Wooden panel with carvings in various degrees of relief. Carvings are of calaveras and poultry carcasses, and some combinations thereof. From bottom of panel hang bundles of hair; these and other pendant items are reminiscent of milagros.
