From the Visible Truths: Traditional Sources Within the Chicano Aesthetic Exhibition in Sacramento, CA (September 21-November 10, 1990). A stage was created by hanging canvas-like theater curtains, which is pulled back on both sides. A hubcap occupies the entire background of the stage. Text around the rim of the hubcap reads, "Tu Er[es] Mi Otro Yo". A heart made from metal riveted together is swaddled in barbed wire. It has a tear in its bottom section painted red to resemble blood. A cross has been placed in the heart's cleavage. Cat.1 024 The artist of any work retains all rights to that work.
