Description
From the Ceremony of Memory Exhibition organized by Patricio Chavez at Centro Cultural de la Raza (November 17, 1989-January 21, 1990). A section of a room has been reconstructed and modified. A plank floor was laid and a wall erected. A mirror hangs on the wall along with four photographs of eyes. A non-standard crib (big enough for a baby to stand in) has been placed in front of the mirror and a miniature ladder leans against it. A box on the wall is a small scale version of the installation.
