Description
A sculpture in unknown media is of two seated nude people back-to back. A double-headed feathered serpent links them, and its heads rest on their heads, creating the impression of a helmet like those worn by Aztec eagle and jaguar knights. A sword with a statuette of the Virgen de Guadalupe on its handle is stuck into the feathered serpent. The sword has streaks of red, as if to indicate blood.
The artist of any work retains all rights to that work. Copyright has not been assigned to the Regents of the University of California. The copyright law of the United States (Title 17, United States Code) governs the making of photocopies or other reproductions of copyrighted material.
