Description
From South Africa, State of Emergency Exhibition at Galería de la Raza. Print features repetitive images in a band along the upper portion. One is of a hand and a bullet, possibly loading a weapon.Text reads, "So, Do You Want The Truth Or Do You Want To Stay Happy?" The other is of a photographer holding a camera, which is 'shooting' bullets. Text reads, Smile, please!". From the first image of the photographer flows a stream of bullets toward the bottom of the print where they hit the bottom of a person's face and bundles of money. Bullets line the entire bottom of the print. Signature beneath image area.
