This is part of an ongoing project for the California Ethnic Communities Oral History Archive at the University of California, Santa Barbara. The oral history was conducted by Lisa Fujimoto, who is a graduate of UCSB, and was a member of the research team that recorded the first interviews for the Japanese American oral history collection: Nisei--Giving Voice to the Japanese American Experience.
