Description
From the Ceremony of Memory Exhibition curated by Patricio Chavez at Centro Cultural de la Raza (November 17, 1989-January 21, 1990). Painting of a group of people assembled around a water tower to witness an apparition of the Virgen de Guadalupe on its side. Flowers have been tied to the tower's support structure and dead snakes hang over one of its boards. Dimensions: 36" x 48". Collection: Mary-Frances and Lorenzo Hernandez.
