Description
Detail of the Master Plan mural features a large swastika with curved arms (an ancient symbol of transformation) in the center of a silhouette of a pyramid. Above the pyramid is a six-pointed star with a spiral in the center. Below the pyramid is a Yin-Yang symbol. On the left side is a Native American man, An Aztec eagle knight, and a column of the San Diego Coronado Bay Bridge. On the right side is a Native American woman with a rose in her hair, a Mexican eagle with a serpent in its mouth, and a United Farm Workers Huelga flag. The artist of any work retains all rights to that work. Copyright has not been assigned to the Regents of the University of California. The copyright law of the United States (Title 17, United States Code) governs the making of photocopies or other reproductions of copyrighted material. Under certain conditions specified in the law, libraries and archives are authorized to furnish a photocopy or other reproduction.
