Civil rights activist and accomplished actor and singer Paul Robeson awaits testimony before the Committee of Un-American Activities.
An accomplished graduate of Rutgers University and Columbia Law School, Paul Robeson was a sucessful stage actor and civil rights activist in the 1940s when he was accused of disloyalty to the United States and was the subject of several invasive federal investigations.
