Annotations/Markings: Signed "雪佳筆" (Sekka hitsu) at lower left edge followed by one seal. No inscriptions.
Medium: Ink, colors and gold on silk
Biography/History: Artist also known as 神坂雪佳. Better known as Kamisaka, Sekka, 1866-1942. See Kamisaka Sekka: Rimpa Master--Pioneer of Modern Design, exh. cat. Birmingham Museum of Art and the National Museum of Modern Art, Kyoto. 2003.
