Description
Acrylic mural on an exterior stucco wall of Sloan's Dry Cleaners, 4539 East Olympic Boulevard, depicts an Aztec god with a feathered serpent headdress descending from a light in the sky to inspire a child reading the history of Mexico. Other aspects of the Chicano experience, including a movie screen, la Virgen de Guadalupe, Coors beer, a fruit crate, and a man bound with metal wires, presumably representing oppression.
