Description
Acrylic airbursh paints on masonite panels. Proposal written by Gina Montoya Orosco. Proposal received top commission award of $2,500. It was designed as a portable mural that could be used at functions, etc. This mural reflects several of the most profound heroes of La Raza that can serve as positive role models for our cultura. Detail is of a nude female who arises from a stalk of corn. She upholds a glowing orb. An agricultural laborer tills the soil at the base of the stalk, while another man looks on with an awed expression on his face.
