Description
Annotations/Markings: Signed "Shugu" with three seals "XX", "Shugu", and "Chikuto" in upper left corner. Inscribed "In the mid-summer of 1817 a group of crazy fools traveled to Daihikaku in Arashiyama. one of us fools looked out over the cliff but dared not jump, so I painted this picture to present to him" (translated by Stephen Addiss).
