Description
From the Charles Henry Geer photo album series that depicts a promotion held to sell land in Turlock, California, circa 1907. A few unidentified men are presumably touring Turlock by car rather than by horse drawn wagon or by walking. The fencing visible beyond the car surrounds the Turlock cemetery. Through the fund raising efforts of the Ladies Improvement Association, the cemetery was cleaned and fenced in 1906.
