Description: This full page advertisement appeared in the March 15, 1896 issue of The Pioneer. It describes the Great Carnival of Roses festival to be held in San Jose on May 6-9, 1896. The advertisement promises a grand parade with 250 floats, games, a grand ball, and a parade of 15,000 school children. The advertisement urges the reader to "See the Carnival of Roses and Live forever."
