Description
This full page advertisement appeared in the March 15, 1896 issue of The Pioneer. It describes the Great Carnival of Roses festival to be held in San Jose on May 6-9, 1896. The advertisement promises a grand parade with 250 floats, games, a grand ball, and a parade of 15,000 school children. The advertisement urges the reader to "See the Carnival of Roses and Live forever."
