Photograph of an interior mural in Bldg. 4423, corner of 6th Avenue and Col. Durham Street, 2nd floor, south room, north wall, 20.25" wide x 23.75" high. This is the 9th Infantry Regiment Distinctive Unit Insignia. It depicts an imperial five-toed Chinese dragon facing left, encircling a disc with the number 9 and regiment motto around the center of the disc. The motto Keep Up the Fire, refers to a wounded commander's urging during a battle in Tientsin, China during the Boxer Rebellion.
