Description
In 1959, Santa Clara launched a bond drive for $22,500,000 to expand and modernize City services for the community's burgeoning population. $800,000 of that was to finance a Central Library for the City. The bond issue passed overwhelmingly. Left to right: Maurice Dullen, unidentified man, Joe Rebeiro (on ladder), unidentified woman, Austen Warburton and James Viso (from verso of photo).
