Vanderleck-Yorba Capistrano adobe in Capistrano Village, 1936. A long adobe is visible with a long roof and ivy growing on it. This adobe was made up of "two adobes joined by Harry and Georgia Van der Leck when they remodeled the two buildings...The north part was known as the Miguel Yorba adobe and the south part as the Juzgado (Justice) adobe. The whole is covered with one continuous roof and fronts the Highway, with a corridor 110 feet long." At one time the south part was divided into two, one part being the Justice Court and including a jail, "Calabosa".
